That’s exactly why we created the Pathways to Work – Success Accelerator, a FREE 12-week return-to-work programme for adults in Doncaster.

The Success Accelerator was designed with these stories in mind. It’s not just an employability course. It’s a supportive, structured, confidence-building journey created to meet people exactly where they are.
When we were designing the Success Accelerator, one question guided us:
“What would help someone feel ready again?”
The answer wasn’t just CVs and interview prep, though we do cover those. It was something more profound:

It’s an engaging, hands-on way to rebuild confidence, especially for adults who’ve been away from the workplace for a long time.
While Tuesdays and Wednesdays focus on confidence, digital skills, and employability coaching, Fridays are all about real-world exposure.
Each week, participants visit employers, take part in work tasters, or shadow staff to see what different jobs actually look and feel like.
This is key for anyone who is unsure about their next step or who hasn’t had recent experience to put on a CV.
